Thien Long Grotto
Thien Long grotto (Heavenly Dragon Grotto) is situated between 25m and 28m above sea level, in the same mountain range and 1km east of Dau Go Grotto. Discovered in July 199, Thien Long grotto covers an area of 4,500m2, facing northwest. Its floor is divided into many layers with deep ravines and hollows. There are many traces and pieces of evidence to suggest that people once gathered bat excrement or sheltered here. At present, all repairs and visits to the grotto are temporarily suspended so that the large number of vestiges of prehistoric human beings, perhaps from the early Halong culture, that were discovered in the grotto can be fully investigated.
